Experience the full life cycle of the grape in our visitor vineyard in Portas

The vineyard is the backbone of the project and the best place to understand how the region works. That’s why the visit isn’t just about looking.

We work two hectares, with tasks that change with the seasons: planting and grubbing up vines, winter pruning, tying up the vines, green pruning and grape harvest. This is how we demonstrate on the ground the range of activities a vineyard in Galicia offers throughout the year – a common misconception when people think of the grape harvest. You choose how involved you want to be, from simply observing how we work to spending a whole day getting stuck in.

What you see during your visit has a life beyond the vineyard: the grapes we grow are the raw material used by wineries such as and to produce their wines.

What you see during your visit has continuity: the grapes we grow are part of the raw material that Condes de Albarei uses to produce its wines. Pazo Baión, as an extension of Condes de Albarei, is part of the wine tourism project we are involved in and that we encourage you to visit in Rías Baixas.

A visit to the vineyard is something to be experienced, not just told about.
